I enjoyed taking this shot, because everytime i try to take the head shot looking forword the bird turn its head to the left.
I took this photo at R.H.S. Wisley, in the glass house.
This uniquely plumaged bird breeds on the coast of Peru and Chile, and is restricted to theHumboldt current. It can be identifled by its dark gray body, white moustache on bothside of its head, and orange beak and feet. Feeds primarily on small fish such as Anchovies.Spots its prey from the air and dive into the water to grab its meal with its pointed beak.
I saw this shoot and thought how cute these pidgeons where.
