Thames Barge

A Thames Barge was a type of commercial sailing boat common on the Thames in London in the 19th century. The barges had flat bottoms and were perfectly adapted to shallow waters. The bargesĀ  also traded further afield from the North England to the South Coast and even as far as European ports.
