Whippingham is a village and civil parish on the Isle of Wight, and is best known for its connections with Queen Victoria,especially its church,redesigned by Prince Albert.The church has a tower reminiscent of a castle on the Rine, with five soaring pinnacles.Inside, there are brilliant rose windows and a large octagonal lantern in the centre.

Osborne House
Osborne House was built between 1845 and 1851 for Queen Victoria and Prince Albert as a summer house and rural retreat. Prince Albert designed the house himself and was built by the archilect Thomas cubitt. Queen Victoria died at Osborne house in January 1901.
