Taken in Keswick in the Lake District. Wet weather approaching
I visited The Lake District in Cumbria staying in Keswick back in May 2022. One of my challenges was to climb one of the fells in the lakes. So i decided to climb Skiddaw which is near Keswick height 931 Metres distance 7.5 miles to the top. You climb up the zig zags path on the North East side towards Jenkin Hill once at the gate you turn towards Little Man and then up to the summit of Skiddaw. The photo i’m showing was taken at Little Man Looking over Keswick and Derwent water .
A view across Derwentwater towards Catbells one of the many fells in the Lake District of a height of 451 metres.
Catbells is a popular fells in the Lake District to Climb with it breathtaking views. It took me three and half hours to climb to the summit.
