In a lighthouse the Fresnel lens is wrapped around the lamp concentrating the light rays into a powerful and parallel beam, which can be seen with a naked eye as far away as 20 miles. I took this when I visit the Kinnaird Head Lighthouse Scotland.
16th Century castle, Once the home of Lord Byron, the location is in the parish of Fyvie in the Formartine area of Aberdeenshire Scotland. It is said that the ruins are haunted by a Piper.
