Little Owl

The Little Owl was introduced to the UK in the 19th century. It can be seen in daylight hours, perch on a tree branch, telegraph pole, or a field line fence. When the owl is alarmed it bob its head up and down.

  1. Very nice picture 🙂 I haven’t seen many wild owls, only once, as it decided to fly next to my bedroom window a couple of times. Lovely creatures!
