The octopus is cephalopod mollusc of the order octopoda. Octopuses have two eyes and four pairs of arms and, like other cephalopods, they are bilaterally symmetric. An octopus has a hard beak, with its mouth at the center point of the arms. Octopuses have no internal or extemal skeleton which allow them to squeeze through tight places.
So beautiful.
Great! It is a most misunderstood creature, too!
Love this! Had two encounters with these creatures on a single dive in July. Shy, but also curious. Looking one in the eye, you KNOW s/he is looking back!
georgous shot!
It’s such a cute and beautiful creature!
Great catch
That is GREAT!
Lovely shot, Simon. I take it this was in an aquarium? Gorgeous colours and fine detail….
Fascinating!!
