Lilac Breasted roller

Such a beauitful bird. Widely distributed in sub-Saharan Africa and southern Arebian peninsula.It perches conspicuously at the tips of a tree,poles or other high vantage points from where it can spot insects, lizards, scorpions, frogs, small birds and rodents moving at ground level.

Male Peacock

I captured this male Peacock on display. The elongated upper tail coverts make up the train of the Indian peacock. I took the picture at London zoo.
