Taken in Scotland in March 2013- Situated on the Moulin Moor road just outside Enochodhu heading for Pitlochry.
It is the same size as the European magpie, but has a much longer tail. It lives in Northern parts of Indian subcontinent. Its ranges from the Western Himalayas and into Cambodia,Vietnam.They nest in trees and large shrubs in a relatively shallow nest in predominantly hilly or mountainous country. they feed on small animals and invertebrates,fruit and some seed. It will also rob other birds nests for eggs and small chicks.
Found mainly in groups in Indonesia. There body are covered in white feathers,with salmon or pink colored feathers between the beak and eyes. The beak is grey and the eyes colour ranges from brown to black, both sexes are similar. Lifespan is around 26 years.Taken in Birdworld Farnham Surrey UK
Lady Ross’s Turaco are very social birds,they live in groups of up to 30 individuals. They spend most of there time among the trees searching for fruits. And comes from Africa.
