Stonehenge stone circle is possibly the remains of a temple and is famous for its trilithons,the large door-frame shaped stone arrangements, which are actually slotted together with mortice-and-tenon joints.these are arranged so that when the sun rises and set on the solstices it shines straight through the circle along the Avenue on to the Heel stone. Evidence that Stonehenge was some sort of observatory or Lunar calendar is still slight and the purpose of the design remains a mystery. The photo was taken at dusks

Vulture
Vulture can travel great distances without flapping its wings, using upcurrents to gain height. Vulture is a scavenging bird living off the dead.A group of vultures is called a wake or a committee. Vulture stomach acid is exceptionally corrosive, allowing them to saftely digest putrid carcasses infected with Anthrax Bacteria which is lethal to other scavengers.

Unfortunately due to human encroachment and poaching the Giraffe sub species numbers are now declining rapidly , leaving just scattered populations.
TimberWolf
Wolf numbers are declining,largely as a result of human persecution and habitat destruction. The species as a whole is not seriously threatened at present. I took this photo at Port Lympne.
